Scallops in the Air Fryer
Scallops can be a tricky dish to make, rubbery when undercooked and tough and dry when they are overcooked. Thanks to the airfryer, though, it is now easier than ever to make this dish and impress your dinner guests. Adding a bit of lemon adds a fresh, zesty flavor that wakes up the taste buds.
- 8 large scallops cleaned and patted dry
- salt and pepper
- lemon juice
- cooking oil spray,
Sprinkle the dry scallops with salt and pepper to taste.
Spray the airfryer basket and the scallops with the cooking oil spray.
Place the scallops in the airfyer basket and cook at 400F or 204C for 5 to 7 minutes.
Serve the scallops with a squeeze of fresh lemon.
-dethaw the scallops before seasoning and cooking -make sure to spray both the scallops and the airfryer basket to avoid sticking -the scallops may not brown in the frier so make sure not to overcook
