Green beans are super healthy and fun to eat. This recipe suggests a spicy marinade to kick up the heat that will delight your dinner guests and have your family asking you to make them again.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz trimmed green beans
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare the marinade by mixing together the sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chili flakes into a medium sized bowl.
  • 2. Place the trimmed green beans into the bowl, toss to coat, then let them sit for at least 5 minutes.
  • 3. Place half of the green beans into the airfryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • 4. When the first batch is done, remove from the airfryer basket and repeat the cooking process with the remainder of the green beans.

Notes

  • No need to preheat the Airfryer.
  • If you want a sweet and spicy marinade, try adding 1 tsp of agave syrup or honey.
  • You can also reduce the amount of chili flakes if it is still too spicy.
